Cape House Front Desk Lead (Summer Seasonal)

Overview:
The Cape House Front Desk Lead is a seasonal summer position designed to support the Studio Manager and Assistant Studio Manager with tasks and projects that require extra attention during the busy high season. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and is eager to jump in wherever needed - from assisting with client engagement to retail organization and event support.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Support + Overflow Projects
- Provide critical support to the Studio Manager and Assistant Studio Manager by taking on key tasks that arise during the high-volume summer season.
- Assist with operational organization, project follow-through, and miscellaneous studio needs that help the space run smoothly.
- Attend Cape House team meetings, scheduled deep cleans, and other studio-specific tasks as needed.
Client Engagement + Community
- Monitor class capacity and assist with adjustments (e.g. managing standby lists, updating low-capacity classes, tracking milestones).
- Use tools like Mariana Tek, FitGrid and Brandbot to track and celebrate client milestones (including 1000th class achievements).
- Review client feedback in FitGrid and flag opportunities for follow-up and community building.
Retail + Merchandising
- Manage Shopify eComm orders and assist with fulfillment.
- Handle merch inventory, including tagging, organizing backstock, and maintaining clean, on-brand displays.
Event + Experience Support
- Help execute Group, Private, and Charity classes by setting up letterboards, tables, signage, and coordinating day-of logistics.
- Assist with pop-ups and studio events, including prepping tablecloths, podium notes, and branded materials.
- Support B/SPOKE’s activation at the Falmouth Road Race including the Expo booth, pre-race set-up, and race day presence.
Marketing + Outreach
- Assist with local community and corporate partnership initiatives, including printouts, drop-offs, and digital coordination.
- Help manage and apply studio discounts (student/teacher, military, fitness pro, etc.).
- Print flyers, marketing materials, podium notes, and other collateral as needed.

- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or events.
- Familiarity with platforms like Mariana Tek, Shopify, Brandbot, or FitGrid.
- Availability on weekends and summer holidays (especially around the Falmouth Road Race!).
